Sick? Wrap it up!
It’s getting cold around Azerbaijan these days. Hitting 50 degrees (F) is a stretch, and its getting rainy and windy, to boot. This is not good for a country that doesn’t really know how to heat its buildings. In fact, for many people, it makes life quite miserable. For some, they have a higher frequency of colds and headaches.
So, when you get a cold or headache, what do you do? Of course: you take a piece of cloth or something, and you wrap up the area thats in pain. Stomach-ache? Wrap a scarf around your middle. Headache? Put on that bandana. This is how you treat sickness.
Being at my friends’ homes, and my own, with the increased frequency of colds, there has been an upsurge in wrapped body parts in the home. Luckily, I haven’t had too many problems yet, so I’ve managed to stave off my date with the cloth wrapping.
