I’m a Real Volunteer, Ctd.
Ryan’s friend got a hold of this, from the news today, and sent it along. Looks like we’re stars in the news for a day, in Azerbaijan! It’s got an excellent picture of Peter, as well as the Charge d’Affaires, Donald Lu, from the US Embassy in Azerbaijan. Lu happens to be a returned PCV as well, having served about 20 years ago in West Africa. He’s an excellent speaker, and is a real great guy.
And yes, that’s me in one of those pictures, shaking our Charge d’Affaires’ hand.
Lookin good in the suit! I never have the chance to dress that fancy at work 🙂
