About Aaron
Hi. I’m Aaron, and I am the author of this blog, Aaron in Azerbaijan. Clever, right?
My background isn’t too flashy, but I’ll give it to you anyway: I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in International Agriculture and Natural Resources, majoring in Agricultural & Applied Economics (why on earth is that the full title of my degree?). Before joining Peace Corps and coming to Azerbaijan, I worked as an implementation consultant at a healthcare software company in Madison, WI.
Now, it’s on to bigger and better things, like creating an obscure, little blog about living in an obscure, little country. At various points in my life, I’ve entertained aspirations of becoming the world’s fastest miler, a Scrabble champion, and President of the United States. At this point, maybe Peace Corps service in Azerbaijan can help me in all three of those.
Hi, Aaron!
Could’t find any contact info here. We want to ask you about active tourism in Azerbaijan. Could you reply by e-mail?

Hi Malte–
Your best resource for travel around Azerbaijan is cbtazerbaijan.com. Local guides and local activities abound in all of those areas. There is the link there, or I also have the link on the right side of my blog here. CBT Azerbaijan at cbtazerbaijan.com.
